Case File 29 has officially been declassified. This drop is a washed single origin coffee from Caranavi, Bolivia, with tasting notes of chocolate fudge, brownie, and dark red fruit. It’s a solid, traditional profile and a great example of how good Bolivian coffee can be.
You don’t see a lot of Bolivian coffees out there—last year Peru exported over 3 million bags of specialty coffee, while Bolivia exported under 30,000. I’m always on the lookout for rare coffees. It’s one of the key factors that set our roasting program apart. We aren’t looking to do what anyone else is doing . It’s dope being able to source something a little harder to find and put it in people’s hands.
I recommend brewing this one as a pour over or espresso to get the most out of it.
