Case File 33 - Over the last year, I’ve developed a real obsession with washed coffees. There’s a clarity and structure to them that just hits different. A clean, precise finish that puts the varietal and terroir on full display. Case File No. 33 is a perfect example: creamy chocolate body, rich caramel sweetness, and a red fruit acidity that brings the whole thing to life. It’s the cup that reminds you why you fell in love with coffee in the first place.
This one comes to us from El Salvador, personally sourced by our very own Agent 26 — and while it’s our first time featuring this coffee, it’s far from just another washed lot. This cup carries a deep personal history. For over 15 years, Agent 26 has known this farm, this family, and this cup…The farmer — Jose Antonio Salaverria — was the first producer Agent 26 ever met. Since then, the bond has grown through years of travel, shared meals, weddings, and late nights watching coffee get processed under the stars. We’re not just tasting notes here — we’re tasting legacy. A fourth-generation farm, lifelong friendships, and a coffee that’s stood the test of time, relationships, and change. Case File No. 33 isn’t just a release — it’s a return.
